A request: think good thoughts one and all about Ally Mae, a very recent arrival on this here earth.
Dear Britt on the Distant Train had her little girl last Thursday. I am so happy for this family (hot dog, a girl!), but I think we need to have some positive energy blasts over there. Ally Mae is still in the hospital. Send a prayer up to wherever those things go for her to please please come home.

Ah, thank you-- and to folks who sent extra good vibes. Ally Mae is sleeping right here next to me in this hot hot office. Ain't a darn thing righter than this here baby girl. Love to y'all; maybe we'll pass geographic paths soon (Elijah wants to go to the Smoky Mountains after all-- not to ski himself but to watch other folks ski).
Awesome- yes I meant to get that book, especially because me and my brother are so not close, too. And sure about the girl's clothes-- but ain't postage muchly? If so, don't worry about it. The family is going nuts, so I'm sure I'll be sufficiently nauseated by pink by the end of the week. Love to everybody; we should do a Smoky Mountain meetup sometime. XXXOOO.
